I believe play is a powerful form of human regulation.
When we play, we move, explore, connect and create and give ourselves permission to experience life beyond the need to fix or become.
When was the last time you played just for the sake of playing?
As adults, we spend so much of our time doing, thinking, planning, improving and becoming. We rarely get the chance to pause and simply experience ourselves — without a goal, without needing to fix anything.
The Playground for Adults is an invitation to step out of the everyday and into a space where you can move, play, create, connect and explore.
Over the course of this playful deep dive, we will use movement, dance, creativity, art and connection to explore different ways of being. There is no right way to participate and nothing you need to achieve. You are invited to follow your curiosity, listen to your body, play with the unexpected and see what unfolds.
You might dance. You might create. You might laugh, feel, pause, connect or simply be.
This is not about becoming a better version of yourself.
It’s about experiencing the version of you that is already here.

The Playground is held by Yasmin Shamaily, Human Artist & Art Therapist, creating a warm, playful and supportive space where adults can let go of expectations and reconnect with their natural capacity for curiosity, creativity and play.

This experience is for you if you:
- Long to pause and step out of the everyday
- Want to reconnect with playfulness and curiosity
- Enjoy moving, dancing and expressing yourself
- Want to explore creativity without needing to be “good at art”
- Are curious to connect with yourself and others in a different way
- Want to feel, explore and follow the flow
- Need a space where you don’t have to perform, achieve or fix
- Simply want to have fun, be present and play
No artistic, dance or creative experience is needed — just bring yourself and a little curiosity.
This experience is not for you if you:
- Are looking to learn specific art techniques or improve your artistic skills
- Are looking for a traditional art workshop with step-by-step instruction
- Want to create a specific finished artwork to take home
- Prefer to know exactly what you will create before you begin
The Playground is less about learning how to make art, and more about discovering what happens when you give yourself permission to play, explore and create without an outcome.
